Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval of this Resolution.
Summary:
At the request of Supervisor Cebula, the attached Resolution supports consistency in the County Code to align with other local and state level ordinance language for application on Lake Anna, prohibiting an motorboat or vessel towing an individual on skis, tubes, or any other similar device, or on surfboard or any similar devices, including wake-boarding, wake-skating, and wake-surfing, to operate within 200 feet or less of the shoreline, docks, piers, and boathouses. The Resolution further agrees to support application to the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries for implementation of this established consistent distance on Lake Anna.
