| The Board of Supervisors is requested to recognize Teeka Mann for being selected as the General Government Employee of the Quarter “Service Excellence Award” recipient and Sharon Williams for being selected as the Public Safety Employee of the Quarter “Service Excellence Award” recipient for the first quarter of 2017. |

| The Employee of the Quarter ”Service Excellence Award" Program recognizes employees that consistently exemplify the County’s commitment to providing extraordinary customer service to customers inside and outside the organization. All Spotsylvania County employees are encouraged to submit nominations for any employee or group of employees. Nominations are evaluated based on one or more of the following criteria: displayed enthusiasm when handling customer issues, providing prompt efficient service, utilized all resources to resolve a customer issue or complaint, identified and took active measures to resolve problems, actively sought knowledge about customer issues and/or strived for the ultimate satisfaction of the customer. |
