Recommendation:

Implement pay increase recommendations as described within timeline proposed.

Summary:

In January 2017, Evergreen Solutions, LLC presented to the Board of Supervisors the findings and recommendations resulting from the comprehensive total compensation study completed.  Since this time, Staff has been diligent in reviewing data and developing a strategy for implementing the pay increases recommended, in an effort to reward performance and loyalty, improve recruitment efforts and alleviate problematic attrition.

Financial Impact:

Total projected cost of pay increases recommended is $3.5 million.
