| This contract will provide construction services and materials for sanitary sewer and waterline extensions to the Holbert Building and the Courthouse Area. Rerouting the aging sanitary sewer infrastructure for the Holbert Building will extend the life expectancy to the sewer infrastructure. The waterline extension will increase the fire protection to the Courthouse area. |

| Health, Safety and Environmental issues occur without proper maintenance which can lead to sanitary sewer overflows and sewer backups creating potential liabilities against the County as well as violations of regulatory policy. Denial of the waterline extension will not allow for increase in fire protection to the Courthouse area. |
