Recommendation:

Approve a renewal of the Elys Ford Boat Landing Cooperative Agreement.  The cooperative agreement has been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney’s Office.
Summary:

The former cooperative agreement for the Elys Ford Boat Landing has expired.  The attached agreement for Elys Ford has been modified to closely align it with a similar agreement between Spotsylvania County and the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries for the Hunting Run Boat Landing.  This agreement is for a period of twenty (20) years.  This agreement identifies the responsibilities of each party and describes the intended use of the Elys Ford site.
