| Approve the award of a contract to Colossal Contractors, Inc. to provide painting services on an as needed basis. This contract will allow for ongoing painting of county facilities, not to exceed $100,000 per project. The contract has been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney’s Office. |

Three (3) proposals were received for this procurement, two of these were found to be nonresponsive. A Selection Committee reviewed the responsive and responsible proposal and recommended an award to Colossal Contractors, Inc. |

| This contract shall have a term limit of three (3) years and may be renewed for three (3) additional one (1) year terms at the option of Spotsylvania County. |

| Ongoing painting of county facilities will be significantly delayed without a contract for painting services. A contract will provide readily available services to expedite response actions to assure timely response and continuity of operations. |
