| Staff recommends the approval of the attached Agreement Amendment to allow VDOT’s Design/Builder, Shirley Contracting Company, LLC, to improve the water facilities during the construction of the Route 606 Bridge Replacement over I-95 with Route 606 Improvements. |

| The agreement amendment is necessary as it allows us to improve the water facilities during the construction of the project. As the water facilities were already in conflict with the project, the Contractor will be improving the water lines at a minimal cost to the County. |
