Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval to hold a Public Hearing to allow the public to comment on disposing of part of Tax Map 4-A-51 and Tax Map 10-7-77 to adjacent land owner.
Summary:
During the construction of the Hunting Run reservoir, Spotsylvania County acquired land that became inaccessible with the reservoir and is considered excess land.  The adjoining property owner has requested to purchase the land to increase his water frontage.
Financial Impact:
Adjoining Property Owner will pay the appraised value of $51,000 to Spotsylvania County
