Agenda Title: Approval of Three (3) Contracts to Multiple Firms to Provide Business Consulting Services
Recommendation: Approve the award of three (3) separate contracts to provide a broad variety of Business Consulting Services on an as needed basis as the County moves to upgrade various primary and secondary systems.  The contracts have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney’s Office.
Summary: A Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued by the Spotsylvania County Procurement Division to solicit proposals from qualified contractors to provide business consulting services.  Twenty (20) proposals were received for this procurement.  A Selection Committee reviewed the proposals, which resulted in a recommendation for award to Intelliware Systems, K.L. Scott & Associates, LLC and SC&H Group, Inc.

Additional Background/Other Considerations: These contracts shall have a term limit of one year and shall not exceed $150,000 and may be renewed for four (4) additional one (1) year terms at the option of Spotsylvania County.
Consequence of Denial/Inaction: Schedules for replacement/upgrade of legacy systems will be adversely impacted, requiring possible rework and additional related costs.
