Summary: |
The applicant requests a rezoning of approximately 6.646 acres from Residential 1 (R-1) to Residential 8 (R-8) with proffers to allow for a maximum of 45 age-restricted single family attached units known as The Villas at Salem Church. The property is located at 5715 Ross Drive which lies on the north side of Ross Drive, approximately 500 feet east of Salem Church Road. The proposal creates a cluster development with a density of 6.6 dwelling units per acre and 2.4 acres preserved as open space. The development will be accessed from Ross Drive with private streets serving the individual lots internally. The property lies within the Primary Development Boundary and the proposed subdivision will be served by public water and sewer. |
