Recommendation:

Approve the purchase order contract to Musco Sports Lighting, LLC for lighting supplies and installation services for Marshall Park parking lot, baseball and basketball courts in the amount of $220,713.29.
Summary: A Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued for indoor-outdoor athletic surfacing with related equipment products, supplies, installation and services by National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) of which the County is a member. The County is purchasing lighting supplies and installations services from the awarded vendor, Musco Sports Lighting, LLC.

Adequate funding is budgeted and appropriated within project PR1802, account 310-9150-802.89-03 for award of this contract for this purpose.

Additional Background/Other Considerations:

The purchase order contract has been approved as to form by the County Attorney’s Office.
Consequence of Denial/Inaction:

The project is necessary to replace deteriorating infrastructure to insure the safety of all patrons utilizing the facility.  Failure to complete this project will result in potential and increasing safety concerns the longer it is delayed.
