The Public Safety Committee is recommending revisions to its bylaws to remove the term limitation for rotating members. Currently, two members of the Board of Supervisors are appointed annually, as well as a citizen representative, to serve on the Committee. The current bylaws state “Two members of the BOS and one County Citizen at large shall be rotating members (“Rotating Members”). No rotating member shall serve more than two consecutive terms.” It is the desire of the Committee to strike the following verbiage regarding term limits: “No rotating member shall serve more than two consecutive terms.” |
