Three items on last year’s Legislative Agenda were passed and signed by the Governor. Those items were:
Boundary Establishment – Add Spotsylvania and Orange Counties to the list of localities that may establish their boundary line using mutually agreed upon GIS data.
Service District – Add general government facilities located within a district to the list of facilities that may be funded with revenues from a service district.
Mutual Support – Authorize localities to enter into agreements to provide temporary mutual support in the areas of building and zoning inspections.
