This amendment is a proposed revision to the Board of Supervisors by-laws amending the Order of Business for both regular and work session meetings to place the consent agenda before public presentations, but allowing public comment on any matter on the consent agenda.  Public comment on the consent agenda will be regulated similar to public comment on other matters.  Public comment will be allowed on any consent agenda item immediately after the consent agenda is presented but before any item is pulled.  After any public comment and the vote on the consent agenda, the usual public presentations period will take place on any matters not set for a public hearing at that same meeting or which were on the consent agenda.

This amendment also adds an item to the order of business titled “Award Presentations and Special Recognitions” immediately after the approval of the agenda.
