Recommendation: Approve the award of two (2) separate contracts to provide a variety of audio visual, multi-media equipment, components, installation and maintenance on an as needed basis.  The contracts have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney’s Office.
Summary: A Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued by the Spotsylvania County Procurement Division to solicit proposals from qualified contractors to provide audio visual, multi-media equipment, components, installation and maintenance on an as needed basis. A Selection Committee reviewed the proposals, which resulted in a recommendation for award to Karcher Group Incorporated and Unassailable Solutions LLC.

Additional Background/Other Considerations: These contracts shall have a term limit from date of award through December 31, 2019 and may be renewed for four (4) additional one (1) year terms at the option of Spotsylvania County.
Consequence of Denial/Inaction: Failure to approve these contracts may result in the delay of renovations to the EOC audio-visual equipment and audio-visual equipment installation or upgrades to conference rooms, training rooms and community centers.
