| If the BOS would like to make changes to the Tax Relief for the Elderly or Disabled Program, the BOS would need to authorize the advertising of a Public Hearing and the changes would become effective January 1, 2019. |

| On April 12, 2018, the FY 2019 Budget was adopted with the intent that the exemption for the Tax Relief for the Elderly or Disabled Program would be increased from $1,200 to $1,500.
