Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the Board adopt the attached resolution approving VDOT’s Form for Rural Addition Acceptance into the Secondary System of State Highways.

This resolution is to accept Monument Court and Knob Hill Court into the VDOT Secondary Street System as a rural addition and pave the roads to VDOT. 
Summary:
Planning staff and representatives of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) conducted a final inspection of Monument Court and Knob Hill Court in the Bloomsbury Subdivision located within the Livingston Voting District as a rural addition to be accepted within the Secondary Subdivision Street Standards. This resolution requests that the streets be accepted by VDOT into the Secondary Street System of Virginia State Highways and that VDOT assume maintenance responsibilities.   This resolution is the final step in the process executed by the Spotsylvania County Board of Supervisors resolution no 2018-124 on September 25, 2018.

Monument Court and Knob Hill Court would not be accepted into the Virginia Secondary System of State Highways, and would not be maintained by Virginia Department of Transportation.
