| Staff recommends that the Board authorize the Interim County Administrator or his designee to execute VDOT's standard Project Administrator Agreement for construction of an access road located off Tidewater Trail and Pierson Drive to be known as the Pierson Drive Industrial Access Road project. |

| Staff has received from VDOT the State's standard Project Administration Agreement in which the County agrees to partially fund and perform the work necessary to construct an access road located off Tidewater Trail and Pierson Drive. The road will be built using a $650,000 State Economic Development Access Program grant which requires a $150,000 local match.
The agreement requires that the official signing for the County attach a certified copy of his or her authority to execute this agreements. As such, staff requests the Board's approval of the attached resolution specifically authorizing the Interim County Administrator or his designee to execute this agreement. |
