| Each of these two Parks is built over old landfills which have settled in the old trench fill systems. Over time this had created significant undulations in the soil from the old trenches settling and the native soil keeping its original grade. This re-grading work is required to maintain safe usable facilities and improve drainage to prevent standing water. If this work is not approved these parks will continue to decline to the point of being unsafe. |
