Recommendation:
Approval of a purchase order contract to Networking Technologies & Support for Network Support Services in the amount of $132,000.00.
Non-Staff Name and Title of Presenters:
The County will not have proper levels of additional support for the network infrastructure and the county’s overall network.  Additional network support on a time and materials basis would be a greater cost of the county and risk to getting support in a timely proactive manner.
Summary:
A Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued for Computer Management Services, Computer Hardware and Peripherals by the City of Hampton. The City of Hampton has a cooperative clause which allows other localities to purchase computer management services from the awarded vendor, Networking Technologies and Support, Inc.
Financial Impact:
Adequate funding is budgeted and appropriated within account 110-1251-405-3130 for award of this contract for this purpose.
