| An Invitation for Bid (IFB) was issued for Asphalt Paving & Surface Treatment by Fauquier County Government and Public Schools in October 2016. The Fauquier County Government and Public Schools have a cooperative clause which allows other localities to purchase the asphalt paving and surface treatment services from the awarded vendor, Donovan Paving, LLC. |

| Adequate funding is budgeted and appropriated within the Utilities Operating Fund and Utilities Capital Projects Fund for award of this contract for this purpose. The attached budget adjustment and appropriation are necessary and recommended to combine existing funding into one project for these asphalt repairs for the composting operations. This budget adjustment and appropriation portions of this agenda item were taken to the May 2019 Finance Committee meeting and recommended for approval by the Committee. |
