| The US Census is encouraging each county and city in the nation to form what is called a Complete Count Committee for the 2020 census. This group is charged with providing local effort to make sure every person is counted. This includes focusing special efforts with populations that are hard to contact, hard to persuade to participate, and hard to interview. All five localities in Planning District 16 are working with the George Washington Regional Commission (GWRC) on a regional Complete Count Committee. The cost of the regional campaign is estimated to be $10,500 which is being equally divided between each locality at a cost of $2,100 each. |
